About AI Tools Examiner
AI tools change faster than almost any software category. Plans get renamed, prices move, usage limits shift and features launch weekly. Most “best AI tools” lists are out of date the day they are published, and many invent test results to sound authoritative.
We started AI Tools Examiner to do the unglamorous part well: read the documentation, pricing pages and changelogs, record what each plan actually includes, and explain the trade-offs in plain English.
What we publish
- Reviews of individual tools, each with a verdict box, a current pricing table, pros and cons and alternatives.
- Comparisons that put two or three tools side by side and name a winner in each category.
- Best-of roundups by use case and team type.
- A pricing tracker covering every plan we follow, with the date each price was last verified.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish fake screenshots, invented benchmarks, made-up quotes or ratings with no method behind them. When we haven’t tested something hands-on, we say so. Our How We Review page explains exactly what our scores are based on.
Who we are
Our editors are John Marshall and Craig Leslie. We’re funded by affiliate commissions, which you can read about in our affiliate disclosure. Vendors can pay for a faster review or a labeled sponsored slot, but never for scores, rankings or verdicts.
